The Twilight dolls made by Tonner are something rather different for the discriminating Twilight fan this Christmas. Whereas shops far and wide are full of New Moon and Twilight products of the many sorts, these large scale deluxe dolls are something out of the ordinary. Created to exacting standards by masters of the art of doll-making, they're among the most collectable samples of Twilight goods thus far released,  being amongst the most likely to rise in value in years to come.

These extremely attractive dolls are hand painted and hand finished, which gives them a wonderfully personal and inventive look that a lot of licensed film collectables do not have. You will have to go to Sideshow Collectables for comparable levels of detail and craftsmanship.

At the moment there are five Twilight dolls from Tonner based mostly on the first movie, and each of them is an impressive collectable in itself. The characters available are the leading star pair, Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, along with dolls of Laurent, Victoria and James. There is also a New Moon range on the way, which are sure to cause a huge amount of interest when they turn up.

The dolls do seem brilliant, but it's in the facial sculpts that some enthusiasts could have issues with. Whereas the sculpts are superbly done, they'll not be quite close enough to the stars themselves for a few devotees. The Edward Cullen Tonner doll, certianto be the most popular of the group, does carry the best of the facial sculpts. Edward stands at seventeen inches tall, while the other Twilight dolls in the range stand approximately fifteen inches each.

Each of these Twilight dolls come dressed with a movie accurate costume, and as Twilight goods goes, they really are at the top end of the line. Each features saran hair set into their scalps and multiple points of articulation for extensive posing. They look fantastic, however they are not intended to be played with as toy products. They are more for the collector's market and the dedicated Twilight and New Moon fans. Why not try the series of Tonner Twilight dolls for this Christmas?
